When implementing human resources processes, we also make plans to maintain the work-life balance of employees by taking into account their needs and expectations. To support that, we have introduced home-office hours and offer part-time work for post-graduate students.

We actively conduct our recruitment processes via social media platforms. During the first 6 months, we implement training, personnel development, orientation and productivity processes with the department head and experts from various areas of the company in order to ensure the professional development of our employees, and to maintain high employee retention. Job Description;
We are looking for new team members who can translate and edit in English<=>Turkish, French<=>Turkish, German<=>Turkish language pairs and who have the following qualifications:

  • BA in Translation and Interpreting, Translation Studies or Philology,
  • Translation and editing skills in the above languages pairs,
  • At least 2 years of similar full-time professional work experience in translation companies,
  • Exceptionally skilled in editing processes to make the necessary corrections to deliver accurate and quality translations with a customer-oriented approach,
  • Fulfills requirements of translation quality standards and executes the control process consistently and efficiently,
  • Excellent command of spelling and grammar rules of the source and target languages,
  • An eye for detail, sense of responsibility, exceptional time-management skills
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Good command of MS Office Programs,
  • Can preferably use programs such as SDL Trados, Memsource etc.

Web Development Specialist

Job description;
We are looking for a web development specialist who can work on a project or on a full-time basis to closely follow the new technologies for all our brands within the EDU Group and plan and manage projects to integrate them into our systems.

General Responsibilities

  • Development and integration of new modules for online portals of brands within the EDU Group
  • Develops API, plug-in, etc. to ensure integration with existing technologies
  • Addresses any potential technical problems with existing software

Technical Requirements

  • Developed software with PHP and MySQL for a minimum of 2 years,
  • Developed code with the OOP approach and MVC architecture,
  • Experience in PHP frameworks,
  • Uses web technologies such as AJAX, XML, JSON,
  • Experienced in technologies such as HTML5, CSS and Javascript,
  • Experienced in Web API systems and RESTful services,
  • Working experience with version control systems (Git, SVN),
  • Preferably has command of WordPress technologies,
  • Has sufficient knowledge of English to read and understand technical documentation,

Job description;
We are looking for a digital marketing and SEO specialist who can work on a project or on a full-time basis to create and manage SEO, remarketing, display and market strategies for all our brands within the EDU Group.

General Responsibilities

  • You develop the right strategies for new conditions by following the changing search engine algorithms,
  • You perform backlink studies, link building and other offsite optimization studies,
  • You review the websites in accordance with SEO rules and KPIs, identify and address any shortcomings,
  • Tracking of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica etc. in the context of SEO management, evaluation of data, reporting of results,
  • You guide the relevant content team and create the necessary strategy to ensure SEO compliance of content on site and off-site

Technical Requirements

  • You have knowledge of SEO and carry out relevant keyword research effectively,
  • You interpret the data obtained using SEO tools in terms of user experience,
  • You identify and address any issues that need to be addressed by monitoring the websites within the group in terms of technical SEO,
  • Experience in managing Facebook, Instagram and other social media ads,
  • You can use basic reporting tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica

  • You have a degree in a related field,

Proofreader Job Advert

Requirements

We are looking for a new member to work as a Proofreader in our Head Office in Istanbul. The proofreader, a native speaker of the target language (English) to the text which has been translated and edited, will be tasked with a final reading of the texts to provide the following: checking linguistic coherence, grammar, spelling, punctuation, terminology etc., ensuring fluency, making necessary corrections, providing Project Management, Production Department and Quality Control with feedback.

  • Native level language skills with a BA in Translation and Interpreting, Translation Studies or Philology, Foreign Languages and Literature,
  • Has more than one specialty, able to check complicated texts on a wide range of topics,
  • Excellent command of spelling and grammar rules and understanding of jargon in the English language,
  • Experience in the translation industry, preferably with at least 2 years of experience,
  • Can use programs such as SDL Trados, CAT etc.
  • Aware of the need for quality, speed, and excellent timing with a customer-oriented approach,
  • Good teamwork skills,

Job Description;

  • Knowledge of the source language independently from the target language and checking of grammar, spelling, punctuation, idioms, jargon etc.
  • Follows customer instructions when performing checks and making corrections,
  • Improves on customer instructions and dictionary used, where necessary
  • Provides feedback to translators or editors on inaccuracies or style to improve quality of future projects,
  • Checks whether the translated text represents the source text fully and accurately,
  • Checks with customers to clarify any ambiguities or ambivalences in the source text,
  • Analyses the project, delivers it within the deadline and offers an assessment of the steps followed during the project, reports to the quality manager,
  • Manages workflow, analyzes potential problems and participates in the solution process, provides feedback to the quality control manager.

Job Description and Requirements

Carrying out sales & marketing activities of products and services in line with the company’s strategic objectives in translation & localization, and other areas operated in.

  • Establishing sales-marketing strategies to support the company strategy through sector analysis and benchmarking activities,
  • Analyzing customer needs, competitive elements and product requirements in existing or new markets, creating opportunities, producing creative service and product solutions,
  • Setting targets in line with sales-marketing strategies, creating an annual sales and marketing plan and the budget,
  • Monitoring sales-marketing targets, preparing monthly and periodical reports on the basis of the realization of targets and budgeting with analysis,
  • Carrying out marketing activities for company products and services.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering,
  • MA degree in Marketing is preferable,
  • 3 years of experience in sales-marketing, preferably in the field of FMCG or Technology,
  • Excellent command of English,
  • Advanced MS Office user,
  • Familiar with the translation industry,
  • Knowledgeable of technology and digital life,
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication.
